New Mexico Weather: Dry Now, Rain Later This Week
Showers and storms are forecast to increase across the state late this week as moisture arrives from Tropical Storm Vance.

Residents can expect a dry Tuesday with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 60s across the Albuquerque metro, though some locations may reach 70 degrees. Any rain activity will remain isolated and limited compared to conditions over the weekend.
Overnight, fog is expected to develop in areas where moisture remains high and surface winds stay light, potentially lingering into the early morning hours. Wednesday's weather pattern will mirror Tuesday's, bringing sunshine to most of the state with isolated afternoon showers and storms confined to southeastern New Mexico. High temperatures on Wednesday may rise a couple of degrees warmer than Tuesday.
Rain chances increase for the final days of the work week as moisture from Tropical Storm Vance in the Eastern Pacific streams into New Mexico. Numerous showers and storms will be possible starting late in the week, preceding a stronger Pacific storm system that is set to impact the Desert Southwest during the first days of November. Sunday is forecast to be the wettest day, particularly during the afternoon and evening.
